carseats are not designed for their spinal posture and most don't support them properly. that is the cause for baby's head to slump forward with chin down to their chest as they sleep which obstructs their airways affecting breathing

@emilyd, That's a good idea. My daughter has been in her own bed for a while now luckily. She sleeps with a sound machine and a few fans. (When the sun hits her room in the morning it gets hot quickly.)

@theinkedmommy, @harleyquinn420 I roll up a burp rag in my bra all day and then lay it down in his bassinet at night. I also use a Lulla-vibe vibrating mattress pad. He has no clue he's not sleeping with mommy!

@harleyquinn420, Does she like to be swaddled? If not, you could try giving her a shirt you've worn for the day so she can still smell your scent to feel comfortable not being in your bed.
