At that much weight loss I would personally seek a second opinion. Kids do thin out or slow their weight gain.

the said he might just be a skinny child like how me and his father were but for him to be almost 30lbs at 5 months and 17lbs at 7 and 9 months doesn't make any sense . If he's already had digestive issues and now lumps or hernias, get another opinion. Don't stop until you're satisfied!

yes please get a second opinion mama. within 4 months that is a lot to lose. my son lost a few ounces within a month but he's more active now and is 21 lbs 4.4 Oz

my son is 3 months and not eating until we gave him this medicine for acid reflux so it can be that but I would still talk to your docter about it your baby may have a fast metabolism so you may have to change formula to but again talk to your docter about it
