Piercing guns aren't as safe and can cause infection and a lump ! I have a lump in mine..they say needles are much better and run less risk of infections..if u chose to do needle they do them at any professional tattoo parlor ..which is best cause they are professional unlike people at Claire's ..I took my daughter when she was 3 months since she already had her 2 month shots but the piercer advised me to wait until after her 4 months shots which I appreciated that cause he could've simply been careless and did it right then and there and made money....if u do happen to go to a jewelry place that uses the gun some might tell u not until 3 months old
After there two months shots. They ask if she current in her shots before piercing her ear. They ask me with with my girls. But I wait until both was 5 months lil bit big
When she's had her first set of shots I believe. (I don't have my daughters pierced, so hopefully someone else will know for sure.) Check if her Pediatrician's office does them. If not, go to an actual piercing place. The piercing guns aren't really safe or sanitary.
