when do the doctor usually ask If you want your tubes tied?

I will be sure to ask tomorrow at my 30 week appointment.

@honey16, unfortunately they don't do vaginal tubal ligation anymore. they have to do a tiny incision to do it now.....

@babytj0214, do u know how they do the procedure if u deliver vaginal?

ok. I'm 30 and this is my fourth. I was never asked before cuz I was way younger when I had my other 3. I had 3 kids by the time I was 23. 😩 they are much older now (12,10,9). and I just don't thnk my body can tolerate any more. 😩😩

I got it done when I had my c section cuz I'm already opened up and got it done right there.....

I don't think most doctors ask. I feel like that's probably a question you'd have to bring up to your doctor yourself... And even then, most won't do them unless you're a certain age and are 100% sure that you don't want anymore children.
