Ladies I have a question.
I live in jersey w my boyfriend and son. He is our first child. When I met my boyfriend I left everything I had back in Delaware and came to start over with him here in jersey. We been together for. Only a year. He wants to move to Long Island with his family once our lease is up in February because he doesn't want to be alone in jersey anymore. I get it, but i don't want to be that far from my family either because they help me with the baby.. his family does not. They don't even call to check on the baby and have only seen him one time. I'm pretty much a outcast because I'm the only rican. My boyfriend is 100% Dominican I'm talking bout born and raised in DR.
He wants me to just follow him to L I but I know we won't be able to afford being in our own place and I don't want to move in with no one. I like my privacy. He told me if I don't want to go then I should go back to my moms house.. should I follow him and hope for the best or just go back to my moms house because I know for a fact we can't afford living out there... 😔

@mashaflor, according to him I could get a job As a CMA. But what he don't realize is that it don't pay as much as he think.

He probably wants to go to his family no matter what. But since you pay the bills. When you move where will you work then?
@mashaflor, that's what I told him. We are a new family. And we can't be living with other people... but he swears we could make it in Long Island. And we can't. I make the most income, i pay most of the bills so I know we can't. And I tried to make him see that.. but to him we can. He swears we gunna find a two bedroom apartment for 1500 utilities and cable included. 😑
Yeah.... It is a little irresponsible to tell you to go to your mom. You are family with him. As @jjepb said, you can always return home. But it would be better for both of you to start smth new together, not living with his family
@jjepb, we have more than once.. and it starts off with them saying hi. And then like 10 mins later they all in their groups and I'm just in the corner alone. Pretty much we have nothing to talk about because they think they know everything and I don't like that. I mean we have had our disagreements lately but i didn't think it was that bad that I would even have to make a decision like that.. like he does not want to move anywhere else but to Long Island with his family.
Maybe you could go for a visit and see if you make connections with his family. It's important to have a support system & it really does take a village to raise a child. It really depends where your relationship is with him.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@mamabearx2, that's what I keep telling him. But his response is i don't want to be in jersey alone. I want to go to LI because it's where my family is.
