Claritin.

I use Claritin.

benadryl can hurt your supply the most. try claritin, zyrtec, ect. . however just about any antihistamine can cause a supply issue. have you tried nasocort?

@wiccanmommy, I have an insane over supply and take benedryl semi regularly, so my supply isn't the issue. my concern is it getting to my daughter as far as breastfeeding goes. Most allergy medications knock me out cold.

try the nasocort then.. not drowsy and helps tremendously! I have severe allergies and this was a life saver.

@wiccanmommy, (not trying to be picky, just being curiois) I just looked into it and it deals with more of congestion and sneezing. My problem is my eyes. They are completely swollen. The benedryl I took earlier helped, I'm not sure if a nasal spray would help with eyes??

it definitely can.. but you could always add in a allergy eye drop. both would be safer (not that oral aren't safe) because they don't go systemically. do you see an allergist?

@wiccanmommy, no. Long story short we got a cat. it's always a gamble with me and cats and unfortunately, I'm allergic to him. I'm trying to deal with it the best I can because I'm completely against taking him back. I never thought of the allergy eye drops, but i wear contacts so finding something compatible with that is another battle.

if eyes are a issue they have allergy eye drops.

there are contact safe ones..
