I had a lot of reduced movements with my first and the midwife told me to lay down and put cold peas on my stomach and he sure started moving with minutes x

I can't stress this girls...but babies movements shouldnt change at all no matter if you are close to labour or in labour :)...when I was 39 weeks my waters broke and I got mild contractions after a few hours...I went to the hospital to get checked by the midwife...she asked me how the movements were and if there was any change...so the movements still do matter even at later stages! Even in full blown labour she was still moving fine :) xx

you should try a few mouth fulls of a cold fizzy drink chuck x

Definitely ring then, my midwife when I saw her last time told me that if I notice reduced movements, ring triage and say that I've have had icy water and waited an hour even if I haven't, then i'll get seen sooner. @abbham95 xx

I've tried everything I've been lay on my side for an hour with ice water and nothing, they certainly do! Thanks girls @jodie1809 @xkathrynlouise xx

That always happens to me ! I think they like to keep us on our toes x

See I got told that by one midwife and then another said to me no matter what if it's not normal then you need to get checked, I'm such a worrier as well! I'm sure if I go as soon as she's hooked up to the monitor she'll be having a little dance! @xkathrynlouise xx

The midwife told me that when you get to full term baby isn't as active as they're lower down, engaged and there's not much room for moving around ! X
