Can't tell if our bed just has crazy static or if I've got exploding head syndrome or if the uncovered outlet that's conveniently situated right behind my side of the bed is sparking. Either way it makes me REALLY nervous and almost- no, make that TOTALLY- scared to sleep in here and keep a baby in here soon and it seems worse tonight and I REALLY think that we need to get it checked out but I don't wanna inconvenience hubby's parents, but at the same time, if it IS the outlet, it's unsafe as it is, having no faceplate and being RIGHT behind the bed, and, well... that crap could cause a fire someday.

At least it's on MY side of the bed so when it starts scaring me like this I can just unplug the stuff in it. That eases my mind a bit. I just did and haven't heard the popping since... hmm....

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

anyone in tx? I'm sooo scared of this hurricane. My husband is in wyoming working so it's just me and my 2 kids. They're saying it's going to be a category 4 when it lands and I'm just scared. He's been telling me to calm down the last 2 days I've mentioned it and he just text me and said "I'm really worried about this storm" I want to pack my stuff and drive to wyoming right now...it's a 17 hour drive. But then I'm afraid I'd be stuck and wouldn't be able to get home bc of flooding and I don't want my daughter to miss school. I'm just terrified. I'm crying right now lol.
