how long did everyone bleed after birth? did you bleed the entire 6 weeks and when did you have sex again

That doesn't necessarily mean you'll bleed longer, just means your healing time will be longer. So because of that I'd probably wait til you're fully healed and have your check up at 6 weeks.
the had to use forceps and I had a tear, so will I bleed longer
@melissa20544, you don't "have" to. They advise you to. If you do do it though just make sure you use protection not only to save you from possibly falling pregnant again but to protect you from any infections. But only do it if you feel comfortable doing so.

I bled for about 2 and a half weeks and we had sex again about a week later. It hurt so much though, just gotta make sure you're lubed up! Haha are you breastfeeding or on bottles?
