I had it for 6 months before I got it removed to have my baby, but I just got it back because I loved it the first time. It stopped my period all the way. You'll just have to get it and see how it works for you, because my friend had it at it did the total opposite of what mine did. Every birth control effects everyone differently. @janae_

ive had both... i loved them. no periods. didnt have to worry if the condom broke or not. didnt have to track to make sure i wasnt furtal... none of that.. no weight gain form that. i could work out however hard i wanted too. ill have it again if i ever get my bfb after the baby is born..

I had mine removed after three months it was awful

I had it and hated it. I bled the entire 6 months I had it in, not just spotting, the entire time it was like I was having a period, I chose to get it removed.

I hated it so much my arm always hurt I couldn't really work out like I normally did I broke out really bad and not to mention when I had it taken out due to the pain it broke apart in my arm so it was the worst

yeah thats what i was thinking i was gonna give it a month to kinda kick in and make sure it worked before actually letting him go in raw because i do not wanna get pregnant again 😩 so thank you ! @myramercado , @alvcerralvo

yes he did ... mines was for 3 yrs and nothing . but I waited a month bc I wanted to make sure the hormones from the implant worked lol .

I had it. It was good but it wasn't great. My arm got tingly and I couldn't do much arm workouts but it stopped my period and didn't have to worry about taking a pill everyday. I rather have the pill than anything else personally
