So I'm 3 almost 4 Months post partum, and I THOUGHT I finished my post partum bleeding late July, so I went August and a little bit of September without bleeding then September 12th, I started bleeding and I thought it was my period, lasted two days, stopped for 5 days then I started bleeding again very heavily for 2 days then I stopped again and then I wake up this morning and everything was fine I showered getting read for the day and I started bleeding heavily again but this time it feels like I'm having contractions with a ton of pressure on my downstairs area. I feel like somethings wrong, but my doctors office isn't open today... anyone else?

Sorry to be the one that says this but it's not unheard of to have prolonged post partum bleeding especially after the first. your body is just going through a huge reboot and your hormones are trying to balance out. I heavily bled for 7.5 months after my first. It was terrible! There was no stopping it either....we tried everything. There were a few times when I would be fine all day then I would stand and get a huge gush of blood. it was nuts. This time around I was so nervous it may happen again but only bled for 8 weeks.
