If your baby wants to strike, let them. It doesn't hurt them any and it is not neglectful. They will learn to accept the bottle in their own time. My little guy will refuse a bottle sometimes and then just go to town on me when I get home to make up his calories. He is getting better at taking a bottle since we have been using the Lansinoh Momma bottles though. He still gets a little picky sometimes.

My daughter has never had a bottle before , and she doesn't take a pacifier either . So she's never had anything but me . I'm not working so it's not like life or death but it would be nice to have the option. She'll just like lick at the bottle nipple lol . Like hmm taste like mom . But it's not mom . @emilyd

I had to have SO try the feeding with out me around and during the day when she was less fussy (she is always fussier and wants me in the evening).

I've tried latch , I hear it's one of the really good ones ! I know they say don't give the bottle at first if you want to breastfeed because it can cause nipple confusion but I feel like you almost have too so they get used to both? @cupcake231 Because my daughter just will not take the bottle lol. She tries and she just makes a face like what the heck is this ? Same with when I've tried giving her a pacifier. Maybe I'll try having her dad give her the bottle during the day an seeing if that works . All the bottles I've tried are ones that are supposed to be good for breastfed babies . I just don't want to keep spending money on different bottles if she's going to end up not taking any @wiccanmommy

We started giving 1 bottle a night to help him get used to them for when I am back to work. He likes the Latch the best but also doesn't mind the tommie tippee anti colic bottles, he refused the kiinde bottles. I love the kiinde bags though for pumping. He still refuses to take a pacifer.

That's a good idea , I think I might try to do that once a day . Everyone says how great the latch bottles are so ill continue trying them , an if no luck I'll try the Tommie tippee ones . It's nice knowing my baby fully depends on me for everything but eventually a bottle definitely needs to come in the picture when I start my classes. 😩 and it'd be good bonding time for her an her dad . @rfsteele
