So, my baby is 3 months and she's on 1% milk. Formula doesn't sit right with her at all.
I agree with @alexzandriar My daughter had a lot of issues with formula and the Dr finally suggested nutramigen and she has done awesome on that formula. she recently turned one so I'm trying to switch her to whole milk right now. when I was a baby I had to have goat's milk. but I don't think 1% cow's milk is healthy for a baby that little. I would definitely talk to her doctor about it.
Hey love definitely talk to the doctor also wondering if you would consider putting her on donated breast milk? How is my baby Faith? 😘😍
Look up. Nutramigen formula. It worked with my daughter . And she had many issues with formula. But always ask the doctor first
It is better for the formula to "not sit right with her" than to give her 1% milk! Even 1 year olds are supposed to have whole milk. I agree with @mommy_faith ... you can't do what your doing. It could seriously hurt your baby!!
if you haven't consulted her doctor then it's possible you haven't tried everything. She could have gastrointestinal issues that the doctor can diagnose and prescribe medications for. It may not be the milk. PLEASE do what's right for her and ask her doctor Monday morning. As mom's sometimes we do anything it takes to feel our babies are OK, but sometimes it isn't actually the best choice.
Fed is best if you've consulted a doctor and feeding baby appropriate food. Aka formula or breast milk. A couple in 2005 were charged in the death of their child after feeding her inappropriate foods. This isn't a scare tactic or judgmental. This is a truth. Please look into a soy formula if you think baby can't handle regular.
@peanuts1mom, they're trying to help I understand but I've tried everything.
Of course fed is best. But the facts are, that milk for a 3 month old is dangerous. Especially 1% which is watered down. I'm sorry but she could die of water intoxication or malnourishment. She's basically not being fed, if all she is drinking is 1% milk. @peanuts1mom I'm not trying to be rude, just very concerned for her daughter
I'd still consult with pediatrician. they will definitely tell you no to giving a 3 month old anything other than formula. I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your child but that's not good for baby and can make development slow etc.
don't let them get you down fed is best my husband is 42 and he is just fine definitely healthy
my husband was that way my mil had to give him watered down 2% it couldn't even be 1% or skim had to be 2%
@daij perhaps you just need to purchase a different formula. Babies have died from being fed incorrect milk. Cows milk and almond milk are not healthy or nutritious enough.
both are not good. neither have the nutrients babies need for healthy brain and growing. I would ask the pediatrician. if baby has upset stomach or spits up enfamil Ar is what my kids got put on and it worked.
That can be extremely dangerous. It does not have the nutrients that she needs at all.
@sandycheeks, @housfullofgrls it's an all natural milk w/ nutrients but I'm switching her to almond milk.
baby's should not be drinking cows milk until they're 12 months. you need to try and find the right formula.
As long as you cleared it with her doctor. But it has almost no nutrients in it at all
@alexzandriar, @ciaramarie thank you ladies I've already made an appointment she's only been on it for a couple of days, no longer than that ❤️ @sparklymama yeesssss I missed you so much ❤️ and she's been great I'm just worried that's all
