been in a lot of pain today. wore my tubi grip and support belt while I nipped out. it is so painful. Thought I was having contractions at one point but it wasn't thankfully, was just cos I was walking.cos it stopped when I stopped walking. how am I meant to open my legs wide enough to give birth when the pain is that bad? I struggle to walk and get up and move about and it's just going to get worse 😭😭
The birthing suite is a new facility at the hospital they're in high demand but they're miles better than being on a ward, only available if you're low risk and only two choices of pain relief there. It's amazing though went on the tour and it's got a double bed, special lighting your own bath etc, x
thank you! think I'm going to need it this time round ha ha.
Yes I'm having him at Bolton. not had a baby there in 12 years. so i hope it's a nice experience, rather than all the horror stories i hear ha ha. the birthing suite? what's that? is it like a room on your own? xx
Thank you and good luck to you too! I see you're a fellow Boltonian! Are you having yours at Bolton? I can't wait now I either want the pool or the birthing suite. Praying one or the other will be available x
@xkathrynlouise, do they really, that's not good! they need more than that lol!
I wanted a water birth with my last but ended up having her at home on my bed last year ha ha!
not sure I can have one this time because I have to be on a drip of insulin due to gestational diabetes. but I'm being induced at 38 weeks! but would like one!
I hope it's available for you when the time comes! I've heard it's meant to be soothing! good luck xx
@xkathrynlouise, wow sounds amazing! unfortunately for me I wouldn't be able to have the birthing suite 😣
might ask them though! just to see.
would be nice to have my own room! xx
