I'm breastfeeding, can I eat sea food now or no? My babies dr told me on her first appointment that I still needa be careful what I eat. Basically like if I was still pregnant.

I know wic gives you cans of salmon and tuna when breastfeeding so maybe stick to that for a while I mean having a little lobster probably won't hurt just be careful that you get it from a place you trust

be very careful, especially still nursing, id start adding in seafood with little to no mercury and start out with no shell fish. wait a week or so to see how the little one handles it. if they do well, slowly add in something else and repeat, that way if there is a reaction you know exactly what it is. and since the baby could develop an allergy to shell fish id stay completely away from shell fish until at least 9 months maybe even a year and the slowly introduce it just like with the other seafood. That's my personal opinion.
