been breastfeeding for about a week and I feel like my nipples are rawπ¨ I have to use a shield because mine are flat..... any advice to help them feel better? I use lanolin like it's going out of style!!

motherslove it's sold at natural food places like fresh tyme near me. it's amazing feels better in seconds. also I suggest weaning off the shield I Have flat nipples too and once we got off them I hardly have any issues with sore nipples.

@maleahsmommy, I have been using the shield too! the lactation lady suggested it first and it's given me relief to keep goingπ try that balm that @cubanese recommended, I bought some and it's like Instant relief. also get heating pads and put them on right before you feed and right after!
The only thing that took my pain away was the shield I been using it since a few days after she was born .. now she won't even latch on my own nipple she only takes the shield. I was crying because the pain I was in and probably would have gave up on breast feeding . Creams didn't help me. :(
