My daughter will be 5 months on Tuesday.. when can I start giving her baby food?? and any advice is greatly appreciated.. oh and do I have to give her cereal?

I started my daughter with food around 5 1/2 months and skipped the cereal her doctor and I decided it wasn't necessary. I would give her avocado and banana and now it's all sorts of different fruits and veggies her favorite thing right now is watermelon!

Around 4-6 months we started our daughter at 3 months bc she could hold her head up very well

Between 4-6 months of baby is ready. You'll know because they'll control their tongues . Liam started at 4 months we gave him avocado the first time

you can start any where from 4mo-6mo. start with baby cereal first then gradually work your way up to pureed fruits and Vegis. after cereal you can try banana, or even avocado! always check with your doctor 1st though! 😉😉

It's best to do it by 6 months. That will avoid open gut, tummy issues, or other factors. One month may not seem like a big deal but it is one of those things that I would do because it is recommended by current research.
Madi is taking ounce after ounce I literally can not keep up. I want to give her rice cereal to keep her full😑
Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
I wanted to do one of these before our breastfeeding journey ended. I have a feeling it’s soon 😔 since her dr has us giving her formula to give her more calories, I’m finding it difficult to give her breastmilk as well. She gets full off of me alone so she doesn’t want the formula if I breastfeed her first. And if I give her formula first, she doesn’t want the breastmilk. I’ve been alternating feedings but that’s just caused my supply to drop. She’s getting chunky, though. That’s all I care about, really.
So who made a post the other day about the grandma who is going to give her grandbaby up to the state on socialmom??? If I’m not mistaking that is 100% a user that used to be on this app, I think her babies name was journey and her baby has Down syndrome.. I remember she was so excited to be a grandmother and now she’s talking about giving this baby up to the state???
