I dunno what to do...my ex is a abusive, druggie, alcoholic, and has been accused of molestation. he filed for custody of our two month old. me and my lawyer wrote up my wishes stating I want supervised visits due to the rains above. but I know a lot of his family are police officers...I live with my parents because I am disabled and my parents help me and they have 12 kids...my moms afraid that his family will make false allegations against her and my dad...and she says if they do me and my daughter are getting kicked out...what should I do?I'm seriously so stressed

1st of all I think your mother is wrong... She should be supporting you at a time like this.

And 2nd where I'm from (not sure id the rules are the same where you are) the court will do a background check. if they see that you are not abusive towards the baby, doing drugs, if you are working and your daughter is in a stable home, they cant get full custody of her but they can file for visitation.

@andrewsmommy, she's afraid I'm gonna get her kids taken away...cuz of false allegations they don't even hit any of my brothers or sisters but she says cops can do whatever they'd like

@lesleyraesmommy, shit. I wish she didn't drop them. But, a background check will be done. Get a GOOD lawyer and I'm sure everything will be fine. Most judges favor the Mama, and with a history on his record you should be good. May I ask a question? Did you know about the molestation charge when you met him?

Keep everything he texts as proof as well. If he's a drunk I bet he can get aggressive (knowing from past experience). Everything you can use against him is gold.
