There's nothing wrong with it but you may have one remain I'm afraid I do. It's genetics Hun and what happens to your tummy muscles but will be why your suffering worse with pgp as your core won't be strong now. I'd suggest physio exercises post delivery when u recover. Some girls have massive babies and don't get it and some small and have overnhang. Mines actually not as bad as my third and fourth if it's any consolation
@kmcf2302, I'm with you on that. Glad I'm not the only one ! I'm also like that everything I wear has to be over the bump especially my leggings and my tshirts! X
@suzie80, I'm not too sure what size it was the physio gave it to me quite early on in the pregnancy. I may go buy one and see if it's any better, anything for a bit of extra support. Is it a bad thing having such a big drop? A little worried now if it's not supposed to be like that especially for your first, hmph x
Was it a size L one, I'm much larger than u and still wear mine, just not doubled or I pull a muscle. They are meant to be restrictive tho. My last baby I wore it doubled even in labour, prob was I could barely get it off and on alone. So now I just wear during the day or I can't wee in time at night half asleep battling with it to pull it down. There meant to be corset tight. Yeah def looks like u have dropped a heck of a lot. That's prob the biggest looking drop for a first baby I have seen on here. Let's hope your baby is nice and tucked up low and nearly ready
I've got one but it's too tight now. Had to wear it as I got diagnosed with PGP @suzie80 I've dropped again since last week so I'm praying that the time is getting closer! The thing that's bothering me most is my left hip, really sore to walk now. Praying for a water birth X
I bet u do. If u had much longer left id recommend a body tubigrip to protect your stomach muscles isn't that painful. I have overhang as this is my fifth and that hurts but that is worse than mine. Your baby must be very very low by the looks of it. Hopefully not much longer.
