Ahh that makes sense. Well I'm glad for your sake she took pity on you! I've not had spd but it sounds awful. Everyone I know who's had a sweep it hasn't done anything but it obviously can because they wouldn't do them I guess!
@sara-lou, my spd is horrendous, I'm literally having to take cocodamol just to walk about the house and I can't get any physio in my area, as far as I'm aware the only reason she's done it is cause she felt sorry for me & his head is engaged. Plus his heartbeat is on the lower side of normal but still within normal parameters so not worrying enough to properly induce. I think it depends on the areas, I didn't even know what a sweep was with my first haha but then that was nearly 7 years ago 😂 xx
the thought of a sweep scared my son out of me 😂 she said if he didn't come the week after my due date she had booked me in on a sweep for the Sunday (I was due the Monday before) I was told that on the Friday before my due date.....I went into Labour on my due date and had him 2 days later 😂 x
I've never had a sweep. Went for one with Morgan but the midwife said no point as he'd moved back up! & didn't with Max as they don't offer one with 2nd apparently! How come your having one at 38weeks? If you don't mind me asking.
