Are any moms planning on doing am all natural, no epidural birth?
If anyone has, how was it?
i had my first and only child 3 wks ago no meds or epidural. the worst part is the contractions when its almost time to push. ill push a million times over and over b4 i have to feel those contractions again but it was definitely worth it every thing heals fast and i had 2nd degree tearing. i think what helped me to not get any medical intervention was i labored at home for most of it i started having contractions 10 min apart at 730am so i did some walking took a nap and walked some more till they were 5 min apart and hurt a lot more to the point i had to stop walking so i went to the hospital around 9pm they told me to walk gor 2 hrs cause even tbough they were 3 min apart i was only dilated to a 4 so i walked and squated during each contraction to help me dilate i was 7cm at 1145 my biggest mistake i feel i made was staying in bed once i was 7cm i think it would have been better if i kept walking and squating to take my mind off the pain @nbrooks8891 @chefsurahh @clara_eakin
I might have to be induced, but im hoping to do it as naturally as possible otherwise! No pain meds or epidural.
@ginnalynn, that's my worry too lol bc last time i was in l&d they had to explain the difference between my contractions and baby moving bc i just thought my baby was in a ball but it was contractions. im afraid that when its labor time.. i wont realize until its too late! 😣😐
that's a good thing. just keep reminding yourself that the pain is temporary for a lifetime of happiness with your little one.
@ginnalynn, that is excellent reassurance!! thank you! @clara_eakin have you ever had kidney stones?
this is my 1st as well @nbrooks8891 i want to go natural so bad. my mind has been set on it. @lilmommy93 thank you, i know everyone is different, i hope mine works out
planning on it myself. they say if you have passed kidney stones before then childbirt should be a breeze and ive passed stones on both sides but im nervous bc ive never experienced labor either.
honestly it wasn't as bad as I thought. my pains didn't actually hurt until about 15 minutes before he was born. recovery was a breeze.
I'm planning on it, but this is my first so I can't tell you anything about it lol
i had ny second baby my son with out any thing i had to go all natural due to my labor progressing really fast. my labor lasted 3 hours i was checked in to hospital at 3:30pm for bad contractions starting at 3 and baby boy was born at 6:29pm. it was a lot of pain my body was going through i plan on going all natural again with baby number 3 due april 12th🤗💙
