My obgyn forgot that I didn't want the chord cut and I can't help but think that extra blood would've helped my baby through the jaundice. I'm so mad about it. I can't stop thinking about how she screwed up. 😩

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
I took a test today and it was positive!!! Needless to say I am a little scared, and thinking about my options. Even though my little one is a tadpole, I can't help but think about him/her already.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

There aren't enough studies yet but more blood means more bilirubin, which in turn could mean more jaundice so it actually may have been worse if they did delayed cord clamping. Again like I said, there haven't been enough studies so don't attack me 😬

I delayed cord clamping . My son still had a bad case of jaundice . It's ok your boy will get through it. Is he under the lights? We had to stay extra days because he had to be under the lights. Jaundice is so common. Don't dwell on the cord thing . Does suck she didn't do what you asked though but it will all be ok

like everyone said it's over it's done no need to dwell it's unfortunate but it happened and jaundice can happen even with precautions as anything can
