how did you prepare your toddler for the big day ? for them to really understand? my son seems so excited to meet his new lil brother but at my baby shower he was really emotional and saying I didn't live him anymore and that this was supposed to be his party and he didn't want his lil brother any more broke my heart to pieces..

My 5 year old son was like that too around 25/30 weeks. We just let him be incorporated in a lot of the picking stuff out and everything. We let him pick out his coming home outfit, we got him a gift at the baby shower just for him, now he seems really excited! We talk about his baby brother a lot, I've heard of some people getting the other child a gift from the baby too
