anyone else have to deal with seizures during pregnancy? I've had seizures for almost 6 years now. basically doctors can't figure out why I have seizures and as often as I've had them I never go to the emergency room unless I hit my head or get injuried. I just deal with it by usually taking a nap afterwards and trying to stay calm... I knew there would be risks with being pregnant and having them. I had my first one (while pregnant) today. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they have any advice?

I didn't while I was pregnant but I recently had a seizure for the first time ever just a couple weeks ago. Really freaking scary. Do you suffer from memory loss after you have a seizure? I swear there's like a week and a half gap in my memory it's so strange

my doctors know, they just can't figure out exactly why I have them. I see a neuro. @emkasting I don't suffer from memory loss but my boyfriend had one like 4 years ago and he had the same problem as you! seizures are so weird :(

It was really scary, it had never happened to me before and just came out of no where. I started feeling really strange then I felt scared, like I had to run from something. At the time I was folding laundry in the garage and I ran inside and that's all I remember. My bf said I just said that I felt really weird then just laid down. I woke up in the ambulance. It was so freaky and now I'm terrified that it's gonna happen again

did they put you on anything? all of my tests have come back normal so I'm not on anything and they can't figure out why I have them. it's really scary not knowing why or when it will happen again. @emkasting

No, they will if I have another one within 3 months though. It's really scary..I can honestly say that's one of the scariest things that's ever happened to me. Right before it happened I was like hallucinating...I don't think I'll ever forget what that was like
