my gynecologist stressed how incorrect this statement is babes, he said it certainly isn't a form of contraceptive and to use the mini pill if you are breastfeeding xx

I've Always breast fed and it's never worked for me as my periods have always returned by 6 weeks even exclusively feeding with no breaks and I was told never to rely on it by the doc and midwife. They see oh so many get pregnant within weeks this way

I was thinking how would it even be possible for this to be true😂 and @mother_of_humans that's exactly my first thought

Even without having a period u can ovulate before u would realise u were gonna have one. It's the more common reason for conceiving by accident in the first year.

I wouldn't like to find out to see if it worked just in case so for me personally I wouldn't be too convinced to try it! X

My doctor made me get on the pill as soon as possible lol (he knew I was exclusively breast feeding and asked if I had protected sex( before prescribing me) xx

I started bleeding from 7 weeks! xx
