Does anyone have Paragard IUD and have problems with heavy bleeding?

My doctor said it was normal. She said after 6 months with it in, your body gets more used to it and doesn't bleed as much but I didn't have it in that long. It fell out and we got pregnant again, so I can't attest to that. How long has yours been in)

Is that a normal thing or that means I need to go get it removed?

I bled a lot when I had it. I'd go through a 28 pack of pads in 2 days or less
