If I didn't have heartburn all my pregnancy does that mean my son won't have a lot of hair??

a myth is a widely held false belief or idea. Because there is science proving the connection, it is no longer a myth.

heartburn sucks. So be absolutely glad you do have it. And if the myth is true I'd kiss my bald headed baby all day. Heartburn ain't no joke!!! lol

@naquelsmommie, she was 4 months Monday, and still has just as much hair, except it's so out of control its funny! and it lightened up a lot! oh, and she has 2 teeth! she got them at 3.5 months!

@naquelsmommie yes is pretty much is a myth it's caused by estrogen which loosens everything up they believe that estrogen may have a correlation with hair growth but the hair growth and and itself does not cause the heartburn it's the estrogen in your body.

it's actually not just a myth, there's scientific evidence behind it. However, nothing is one size fits all. So while having heartburn leaves you more likely to be giving birth to a baby with a head full of hair, not having heartburn doesn't mean your baby won't have lots of hair

it's just a myth that a lot of hair has to do with heartburn. my baby is half-mexican so I'm assuming it's going to have a lot of hair and I don't have heartburn that bad at all.
