So local schools have had clown threats today. Over half the kids in the schools have been checked out and police are everywhere. This is ridiculous

If I was the police I wouldn't take it lightly either. There were reports of them in Columbus Ohio, they better watch out luring children and chasing people. Someone with a conceal to carry is going to give these clowns their final joke, and it won't be very funny at all. This has gone way too far. It's expected to get worse with Halloween coming around and all the stores opening with costumes.
@mum2logi, @ktwins188 it's terrifying. I have nieces and a nephew in both schools that were threatened. Their moms checked them out not long after the threat was made. I thought the whole clown thing was a little silly until it hit home. The police are sure that it's a hoax but they aren't taking it lightly

and by hurt I meant in general. not just at the school..? @coltonsmama it's on the news occasionally here but I hardly get to watch it to find anything out
omg seriously? that's horrible. it's sad you can't even take your child to a school where they're supposed to not have to worry about things. people are truly sick. @coltonsmama and I seriously didn't know it was like that @ktwins188 or I definitely wouldn't have said that. I just thought maybe it was someone being stupid lurking by the woods or something
@mum2logi, it seems funny but when someone is threading to shoot our children it gets a little more serious
@mum2logi, no one has been hurt and it's currently 12:40. But as a safety precaution schools were put on a soft lock down for a while. They were threaten to walk into our schools with a gun and start shooting
that is pretty crazy. has any child been harmed by a clown yet? what exactly was the threat? .. but also. clown threat 😂 better watch out, my flower is gonna squirt ya! I've got a balloon tiger after you!
School fees
Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".

My son starts kindergarten in a month. I went to the schools website to try to find a list of supplies they need. One thing is headphones for iPad...I hate that schools are starting to do this!!!! A lot of kids already have an iPad or kindle or some sort of technology at home, school should be a break from it! Also why would you give a 6 year old an iPad & expect it to be in the same exact condition at the end of the year!?! Does your kids school have iPads?
@pure_imagination, I'm honestly surprised that someone hasn't shot one of the clowns yet. you'd think with so many people fired up over gun control someone would have. I honestly wish no harm to anyone, but something needs to happen to keep this from getting worse. @coltonsmama I'm glad they didn't take it lightly. you never can be to sure of anything. I just don't understand why someone would even think about threatening an innocent child's life.
