So I decided from the beginning of my pregnancy that I was gonna breastfeed but now I'm realize I know absolutely nothing about breastfeeding! I'm taking a class about it next week, but are there any books or websites I should read? Lol

just know it's very hard in the beginning, but do not give up, it gets easier. also, having a pump is very essential. 😊

honestly breast feeding comes natural to you once baby is here. they pretty much know what to do.😍

^^ I have to completely disagree with the person above me, breast feeding really doesn't come naturally for either you or baby, baby doesn't know how to latch on correctly, and to be totally real, it takes a LOT of patience and work to finally get it down.

I feel like this is a super "every mom and baby is different" topic. With both of my girls, it came totally naturally to both me and my girls. I never had a problem breastfeeding and I know that I am blessed to not have to struggle with it. As far as things to read, I'm not to sure, but I would say if you are having a hard time once the baby is here, take advantage of the lactation specialist and classes that the hospital offers! Good luck mama!

Breast feeding is HARD! For me and my son it definitely didn't come naturally and it's taken us almost a month to really get comfortable with it and still sometimes we have our off days. So definitely invest in a pump. That has been my lifesaver! Just don't give up if it doesn't come naturally for you and you get frustrated (like I did lol) because it just takes some time and then it's all worth it! :)

Yes it's different for every mama and baby. The first 2 weeks were horrible for me. Getting baby used to latching and then my nipples looked like they were falling apart. I would cry every time it would come time to feeding. I really almost gave up. My boyfriend hated seeing me suffer and said just give her formula. But supported me on looking for help. They lent me a breast pump. And I pumped and I pumped and gave her formula like 2-4 days lol. My nipples healed and here we are almost 7 months exclusively breast feeding
