@purpledpink, i was told when i was 20 weeks that there was a problem then at 24 weeks i was told there was a hole there that might could be fixed that that i would have to talk with the children's cardiologist later in my pregnancy when the baby was bigger then this week they just repeated what i was already told but i have an appointment to get another sono October 18th. and my ob will be making the appointment with children's around the same time

@shanei14, so I found out at 20 weeks that there "could be a problem", met with the cardiologist at 21 weeks, and found out for sure there was the problem. I had an amino that week as well. There is a chance of some complications, but I didn't have any.. I did start having pre term contractions at 22 weeks, was in the hospital over night.... they haven't stopped so am on bed rest for now go get the little guy to at least 28 weeks! The cardiologist let me know that his heart could be repaired on the first appointment. It was peace of mind... I opted for an amino, as I was worried about the DiGeorge syndrome and wanted to know exactly what we would be working with. We also met with a genetic counselor... when do you go back? What is the latest you have been told? I will see what I can gather for you

@purpledpink i would love more info they haven't told me if it could be repaired or not i was afraid to get the amino to see if there was anymore problems because my doctor said it could be a chance my water broke and baby would come early but for now i am taking everything. one day at a time. I hope everything is ok with your little one and. how far along were you when you were told the problem could be fixed.

@shanei14, I read your previous posts about baby. Mine has heart problems (5 different issues) one of them being a large hole. They have let me know that they can repair everything but it will just be a long road.. I am from DFW and one of my girlfriends son was born with a hole. I believe he was at Children's.
