My doctor asked me if I wanted too. And I said heck yeah. I was over being pregnant. Of course, I did ask if she's ready enough.

got a question do you guys ask if it's okay or does the doctor see where it's needed? just asking for personal reasons.. also I'm due on the 26th will my doctor bring up induction?

I got induced at 38 (suppose to be at 39, but she decided to start coming already) and she came out healthy and fine. But. Everyone is different.

I got induced at 39 weeks and my baby was perfectly healthy.

Thats when I'm getting induced ...i see nothing wrong with it.

Of course some women are going to say yes let the baby stay in there for as long as possible, but personally I am getting induced a week before my due date, and as long as you, and your doctor feel like it's okay and the right thing to do and neither of you have a problem with it then inducing a week early should have no complications.
