Honoring #breastmilk and celebrating those Mothers who breastfeed their babies, and those who pump at work and at home.
This image is a section of the brand new mural of seeds in the Magical town of #Tepoztlán, Mexico. (My country 😉)
Every year local artisans and the people of the town gather to make a new mural of seeds at the entrance of the XVI Century exConvent. With it, they celebrate the harvest. This section tells the legend of Quetzalcoatl being breast feed by Mother Earth. Behind them is the maguey, the cactus plant that Mezcal is made out of. Mezcal, among the ancient Aztecs, was a fermented beverage known as "The Milk of Mother Earth" and it was considered sacred.
