I'm very concerned about this little boy I'm watching... he is 2 doesn't know his name.... doesn't say many words... doesn't understand things I say.... I took him and my older two daughters outside to play nd he bolted straight to the street. rocks back nd forth really hard on the couch... idk what to do...I'm trying to teach him better behavior but idk if it's going to help.
well thats sad because he sounds he could benefit from some professional help and shes hurting his growth by not taking him to get checked. hes going to have a hard time when he starts preschool . maybe shes embarrssed or in denial about him needing alil help ? i know as a mother she has to care. maybe you could continue to point out little things here and there to help her help him @mama.of.3.
@jeanetta25, I told her to talk to his dr about speech and she just won't do it... I talked to my Dr for my daughter and she goes to speech therapy every Friday nd loves it.
@deebee, rocking isnt a sign of neglect all the time some kkds rock back and forth hard in the chair or couches just because if comforts them all my little cousins did that and they were well taken care of just like sucking your thumb . but it should be brought up to a physician because sometimes it can mean a mental issue . if this child has learning problems bad behavior and etc he may need to be checked out sound like he may have some learning disabilities and if hes been hit on with previous sitters doesnt help him at all thatll cause him to act out more or shut dowm . hes lucky to have you !! but you need to talk to his parents about him getting tested !! @mama.of.3.
@deebee, I don't think so....but it's just sad... I don't know if I've got the patients to raise another kid that not mine on top of my 2 month old.... but I also don't want him going anywhere else in fear he'd get hurt again.. my mom says I have a good heart bc I'm concerned and am doing this for his own good...he needs a chance to learn how to behave correctly... he acts out a lot.. I know his mom doesn't discipline him... so he gets away with everything. I know he feels comfortable with me bc hell fall asleep in me.
@deebee, It's awful... he just came from a sitter that hit him.... now he's with me... I'm trying to teach him right from wrong...it's gunna be a hard process
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
@jeanetta25, I'm trying...I feel so bad for him... I wish I could get him help... hell I'd allow him to get home visits in MY home
