Feeling so down lately, feel like nothing's going my way😫 I was working and when I stopped I've been told I'm not entitled to maternity pay from DWP so have to wait 2 months for my first payment which is a lousy £270 a month me and a baby are supposed to live on. Just got the keys to a house which is great but it needs EVERYTHING done which I have no money for, there isn't even any carpet in the house and baby's due in less than 3 weeks so won't be in by then😭 and feel like the OH is so distant and uninterested almost like he's trying to avoid me. Everything's happening at once and I'm just a breakdown waiting to happen, emotional wreck!😢

@Lucy jade, no because the job I took on a few months ago was always just temporary I was never going to get maternity from them and was going to get it from DWP but when I finished and went to the job centre I was told they can't pay me it because I was working less than 26weeks. I would've got it if I stayed on benefits or worked over 26 weeks😞 so I got put back on universal credits that won't pay me until 2 months after I put claim in thinking I had all this money saved up from working, they don't understand I didn't have anything saved as I was using it all to buy things for baby and it was weekly pay so disappeared quickly
I thought everyone was entitled to maternity allowance?
@galiceanucamelia, No can't get maternity allowance :/ applied for the maternity grant of £500 but still to hear back if I'm getting it or not. @gbemiabdul aw it's awful isn't it? 6 days, ohh that would hurt much more! I was a couple weeks short, feel like we have enough to be stressing about without this nonsense too x

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
