we don't celebrate Halloween either. I didn't as a child. I really don't see the point in it. I saw a debate going last year about how teens and adults shouldn't be able to trick or treat.. like what the crap? lol what's the point?
@leahsmommi, for me it is both religious reasons and safety. This world is crazy now.I'd rather buy her bags of candy, a cotton candy machine, ice cream, the works than risk candy from strangers or even walking around is too dangerous
@roxell, we go to family and friends. Close neighbors that we know. But strangers ... nope. And her hand must be holding mine at all times. No walking up alone. Unless her older cousins r w her holding her hands and even then I'm like halfway there lol
I am pregnant with my first, but we don't plan on taking them trick or treating, nor do we plan on celebrating Halloween in any way.We might do something at home,go out somewhere fun,or do something at church, when they're older and feel like they're missing out on candy. If they want to dress up I'll gladly let them any other day of the year.
