Had my strep b test done today & he didn't swab my rectum? How many swabs do they use for that test? Anyone knows?

every office has different supplies. It's probably the same but the test includes the rectum so if they didn't it isn't correct
Oh ok he had this 1 tube w a red cap he was saying he's doing to tests, swabbed twice & checking the baby position & he said I was thinned out @2queenbee9
I've had it done twice. once without the rectum and once with. Doesn't make sense why they did it different because I was not ready for that one when they did do it.
ive had three of those test never had my butt swabbed and it was 2 swabs

Sorry this might be TMI but my doctor mentioned me being tested for group B strep at my next appointment. I know they swab your vagina but I read that they swab your rectum, is this true? My doctor didn't mention this part so I'm just wondering.
Ok I need someone who’s not incredibly anxious help me here lol. I had a throat swab for the COVID-19 test. CDC recommends nasal swabs over throat. Idk if it’s more accurate? I tested negative. I’m starting to feel better but i still have the dry cough. I can’t even turn my head or talk more than a sentence without a coughing fit. Would you just take the negative result and continue with your life? Or would you push to be tested again with the nasal swab?
at 35weeks they do a test an i know they swab your front but people are telling me they swab your butt to? is this true?
