Had my strep b test done today & he didn't swab my rectum? How many swabs do they use for that test?…

ive had three of those test never had my butt swabbed and it was 2 swabs

No. I work at an obgyn office!

I've had it done twice. once without the rectum and once with. Doesn't make sense why they did it different because I was not ready for that one when they did do it.

Oh ok he had this 1 tube w a red cap he was saying he's doing to tests, swabbed twice & checking the baby position & he said I was thinned out @2queenbee9

every office has different supplies. It's probably the same but the test includes the rectum so if they didn't it isn't correct

Yea cause he didn't do my rectum 😭 thought he was doing another STD test
