From when my water broke until I had Patrick was six hours

You could probably wait because my labor was a very fast one

My water broke at 3:00 and my bad contractions didn't start til like 9 or 10

I had my baby at 5:13 the next morning

Sometimes they even say to wait couple hours. Depends on baby's position. When my water broke with my firstborn they came to pick me up with the ambulance, because of his position. I had c-section. With my second one I was only leaking. I went for 1hour walk and then to hospital, where they kept me there and was in labor after 24hours. They kept me because of infection risk.

With my first my water broke right before I went to work I just took my time and took a shower and checked the babies bag then left :)

my friend had her baby yesterday morning. her water broke at like 6am, she got to the hospital at 6:55, and got into a room by 7:05, had him at 7:10.

and it was her first baby. so I guess it really depends on how you feel

if you feel like you need to push I would just go to the hospital asap because the baby could be coming right then.

coming from a lab tech, once your water breaks you have a huge risk of infection. it's best to get to the hospital asap

When my water broke it was like 7 I didn't have him for like another 6 hours but the contractions were unbearable within like 45 mins. I had time to finish my make up and so took a shower. By the time he was out I couldn't dress myself I was in so much pain. Hospital was 30 minutes away, thought I was gonna deliver in the car ended up being less than 3 cm 😂 but I progressed fast after that
