I would way rather my house be a mess than lay my daughter down while she's awake and miss out on bonding time with her. If I can get some cleaning done while she's sleeping that's good, but if she's awake most of the day my house will be messy later and that's all there is to it.
exactly how I feel I even hold her and read my homework out loud
Have you tried baby wearing? That helped me get sooo much done while not having to miss out on that bonding time. I didn't do heavy cleaning but just folding laundry, loading the dishwasher, etc.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@teambarnes, I've done it a few times but I think it will be easier when she's a little bit older because she still loses control of her head sometimes so I get nervous with the carrier I have it doesn't really support her head very well. @teambarnes exactly! I'll just have full on conversations with her, or if I shower I take her with me, I'll read to her or put on a Disney movie and talk to her about it and sing to her. I just don't feel right laying her somewhere to stare off into space so I can get things done. I'll wait til she's napping to clean and sometimes if I got barely any sleep the night before I'll nap with her so sometimes it just doesn't get done. I'm lucky though to have an understanding husband lol😀
