The baby seems constipated. She hasnt pooped since yesterday morning and she pushes until she turns red and then whimpers because she cant poop. What can i do? The nurses at the hospital said that her formula is catching up to her so i shouldnt be worried unless its been 4/5 days since the last time she pooped? Shes 11 days old?

My baby is 9 months old she has had a constipation problem since she was a baby she can not poop she tries and tries pushes and pushes , I can see how much it hurts her I have taken her to the ER today but what they did to her didn't help she hasn't pooped since we came back and when she pooped there it was hard ! I want to take her again but she's not in pain unless she's trying to poop . Is there a way I can register her to the hospital for them to see her ? I feel like taking her to the ER is if she's in pain and they won't do anything for her I want her to get seen and for her to be taken seriously . It hurts me she's my baby and it hurts me to see her hurting because of the poop. ;(

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. The q tip thing works immediately, I put a little Vaseline on it and insert the tip, hold it there like 10 seconds and move it around.

You can put the tip of a qtip inside her bum. It will make her push.

Rub her belly firmly but gentle in a clockwise motion. Then take her legs and do a bicycle motion and push her knees up to her stomach back and forth with some pressure. It helps after a few times!
