how the hell can I fix my credit a ex runied it by putting cell phones in my name using the phone till it got shut off then would get a knew one I made a police report but it didn't go any where ...I can't get a credit card ,I can't get a house I'm suorised I even have this appt in my name ,do I just pay everything off

Married ppl with children..I have a tax question.... have you filed "Married filing separately" ? And if so did it affect your child credit refund amount? I read something that if I file MFS I won't get that credit..true? Idk if we both should file single or both MSF. I also still use my maiden name on everything, I haven't changed my ID or SS card to my married name. should file under my maiden name since that's what on my w2 ID ssn etc even if the certificate has my married name
Got my first credit card. Never wanted one but this is the only way i know how to build credit and get my scores up. How long till you start seeing improvement to your credit score after paying it off every month on time??

I'm dealing with a similar situation. Like @kmhicksyy said you should dispute it, otherwise the only real way to fix it would be to pay off the debts or file chapter 7 bankruptcy

you can try disputing it on your credit report. I did it like 5 years ago for some stuff my parents put in my name and it worked for me. I dont remember the process but I know it was pretty simple. good luck!
