@elizabethslewy, ya I was not very happy but one doctor told me to come in for the induction and a different one sent me home. he said that her head was floating and she wasn't in the birth canal enough yet. according to him if they would've tried anything or continued her cord could've slipped through under her head causing her to stop breathing risking her life and the need for an emergency c section where we would've been transferred to a different hospital and probably not even transferred to the same hospital to recover. they think she could either be too big or maybe an issue with fluids but they are having me wait until Friday to even do an ultrasound. he said if she's in the birth canal and my cervix is favorable we can schedule another induction. when I asked him what would happen if I came in for another induction would they send me home again he said that there was a chance if something changes I could be sent home again.

Really? I've never heard of someone being sent home during a scheduled induction! I was induced with my first and only dilated to a 1 at 39wks and she hadn't dropped yet but was head down and I was in labor for nearly 48hrs but was never sent home. Wasn't there something they could have done to help you along? Isn't that the point of an induction? I'm sorry you had to deal with that!
