they showed that the brother would have been able to hit her hard enough with the flash light to have killed her. it's just a mess of different evidence leading in different directions.

@lilmommy93, exactly the whole family is weird about it especially with not wanting police help and hiring private investigators. something happened whether it was an accident or not and now the mother is passed so no confession and the husband just claims she didn't do it. even in the son's interviews he acts weird about it for a 10 year old he's very distracted and not broken about losing someone he grew up with. its all hokey pokey.
am I the only person that think the mom did it? really screwed up but she was wearing the same outfit the night before and then the next day was wearing the same thing but claims to have gone to bed and didn't seem too broken up about it during any interviews. I can understand not being an emotional person because I myself am not too emotional but if something bad ever happened to my child I would be a wreck for a while and talking about it would definitely bring tears to my eyes even years after. and the family's story changes a few times. the mom just seems too cold you know?
@elijahsmomma, it's a girl that was killed in 1996 and her case went cold. but theirs a group of fbi and forensic analysts that did a documentary trying to solve it..... it's crazy to me how many people tell them "we would rather not talk about it."
