a big gush of water..I've given birth 2x before 1st time i was 4/5 cm and they broke my water gave birth in 2 hrs of contractions 20 min labor only.2nd time my water broke night before and gave birth the next afternoon..go get checked in ER..Usually once your water breaks u give birth in 24 hrs

most likely your water! especially if it doesn't smell like pee, I'd definitely go in! cause if you wait to long you can get an infection (I had it!)
