Is this cradle cap? My sister says it's just peeling. How do you even get rid of it?

my son has cradle cap really bad and I took him into the doctors and his doctor said to leave Vaseline on his scalp wherever the cradle cap is for 30 mins & it will start to come off. it works good

Yes looks like it..I used coconut oil and a soft bristle baby brush
