How soon did you breastfeeding moms have a period after birth? My son is two and a half months and I think I'm having my period. I'm just not 100% sure. A friend didn't start hers until after she stopped breastfeeding. Also I bled around this time last month for about a week. The doctor even told me last month it's possible but not very likely it's my period. Now that I've started bleeding again this week I'm not too sure. Any input?
it's probably your body still getting rid of whatever was left in there from when you were pregnant,
but then again we have to remember not all bodies are the same, so you could get your period sooner. So just wait and see what happens. I have friends who got their period while breastfeeding, but it was like on and off. for a whole year they got their period one month then 2 they didn't and then again one month... frustrating!😣😣
@tayek, @elismommy428 I wonder what's going on then if this isn't a period.
Baby's almost 7 months old and I haven't gotten a cycle.
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
So my last period was the 29th of last month n the last 2 days I'm having bad cramps but no blood or nothing . I get dizzy n light headed . My next period is the 24th idk what's wrong plus I'm nauseous n tired
so no I'm not breastfeeding , and no period it's been a month Could I be pregnant ?
@elismommy428, you're probably right. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Thanks:)
