Just need to really vent. This weekend my two friends invited me over to their place with my son to celebrate my 21st birthday. It was a complete disaster. When I first got their I was intrigued. they live about 2 hours away from where I live and the area was nice. That night they totally left me and my son in the house to go get high and drunk. I dismissed it because I was tired. So I ate and fed my son and we went to sleep early. The next day the trend continued. They'd spend 10 minutes with me, gave me a present which was sweet and then leave for hours on their smoke break. I asked them to maybe restrain themselves because I obviously can't drink or smoke and I rather them not be around my son all sorts of fucked up but I was ignored. Later that afternoon we decided to take my LO to the park. It was a 20 minute walk but I didn't know the area. While there they took off again for 2 hours. I ended up leaving, pissed and near tears and after 45 minutes found my way back to their house (they still were not home). I am behind pissed. I never have treated anyone like that especially knowing if they couldn't participate in my activities whatever they may be. If I'm inviting them over I'm catering to their needs and what they can do! They apologized saying they hadn't done that in sooooo long but I don't care! Don't invite me over knowing I can't do any if that, specifically to "celebrate my birthday " when all you did was leave me alone. By tonight I was done. I packed up my son, and left absolutely fuming. I never expected them to be that type. from the all the time I've known them they've seemed totally ok with not doing that crap in front of people that's clean but apparently it's ok with pregnant women and children. ugh!!!
