4 days postpartum. I got 12 stitches. They itch and kinda sting. There's no bad smell or anything gross in my pad besides the normal blood. Feels like something is pulling at them. What could this be?

Maybe their getting stuck to the pad but when you look they let go. Or it could be them dissolving. Mines dissolved 2 days pp

they start itching when there healing its a good sign try not to itch :)

if it gets too bothersome pat it. with my first i had a 2nd degree tear and they would itch so bad so occasionly after going, with the tissue i would gently pat for a second. if your dressed and it itches just over clothes pat where it itches it helps at least it did for me.

mine itched too so i would go the bathroom and fill that squirt bottle of warm/hot water and squirt the stitches. it felt so much better! lol
