I think I really wanna move to a different state. I don't see myself living in CA my whole life. I just feel like the educational system here is not the best, and I feel like a lot of people in CA are going off to college and owing their life with tuition, and coming back home not being able to find a job in the field they studied for. I want the best for my kid(s) and I just feel like CA ain't the best. Cost of living is ridiculously high out here and families are forced to work long hours and even 2 jobs just to make enough to support a family of 3-4. I'm honestly baffled on how we live in the US and particularly big cities like CA and so forth. What are your opinions moms?

@mombie2be, unfortunately due to my husbands business im stuck here in CA- particularly the Bay area of California (ridiculously expensive and crowded) but I wish I could move somewhere else.

@mezeyy09 I went to Seattle recently and I am in love. I would have to see how the educational system is out there, but I just want more opportunity for my family. Paying 1200 for a skimpy 1 bedroom is ridiculous. I've heard that that's someone's mortgage in a different state. @b3autifulm3ss

@mombie2be, absolutely! I pay $1650 for a 1br apt here in San Jose... its fucking outrageous! in other states you can get a 4br house for that!

Yeah it is super expensive out in Cali. Bay Area is even worse but they also get paid more. I know other states are less but the wages are also less, it all evens out. We plan to buy a house out there and pay it off since they aren't as expensive (not particularly Texas, because we have to consider if they have a great deaf program and so forth) but somewhere. We thought about Washington DC because of the deaf college but heard it's a horrible place to live with the crime being so high. So I don't know. For now we are okay. We stay in The Valley, nothing...NOTHING, to do here lol but it's not expensive and my daughters enrolled in a pretty good program but as soon as I find a better one we are gone, then again I hear Cali has some of the best schools and programs for the deaf...

I moved from ca to az ! Its hot but i now own a house, have two kids, and an a stay at home mom! I live my life Arizona heat and all! As far as the school system its hit or miss but thats the same everywhere ( research my friend ) !

I live in Georgia, the cheapest state ever! I love it. I stayed in Va before while my husband was in the Navy and the rent was so expensive. We are both raised from GA so we decided to move back. We lived in Atlanta but it was just too much so we moved back to Albany where we are from. It's slower but I like it better. The cost of living is absolutely cheap and the traffic is so much better plus it's not over crowded. It takes us 15 minutes to get to work instead of a hour or so and our rent is $725 for 3 bedroom 2 baths

Yeah I'm thinking the same way, we are out here because of my husband working but I'm from Kansas. My sister is living in Kansas only paying $500 a month for a 4 bedroom house.... We are moving back there as soon as we are able to. Living in California is way too expensive.

im gettin the hell outta here. we pay 2k just for rent. not to mention utils, etc 😑😑 I love the beauty of california. but I cant raise a child here its too much.
