make sure to lift his head up while pouring water so that water don't get into his ears and use water with your hands to clean his face..

I have been using tub since my son is 11 days old.. but I don't soak him.. I just make him lie on the newborn swing which comes with the tub, apply soap and pour water on him using cup to clean up..
